On November 9, 2017 the UW Board of Regents adopted a resolution to restructure UW Colleges and UW-Extension. Under this proposal, UW Cooperative Extension and UW-Extension Conference Centers will move to UW-Madison on July 1, 2018.
The Regents also voted on February 20, 2018 to return Wisconsin Public Radio and Wisconsin Public Television to UW-Madison. Approval of the resolution was announced in a press release as part of the ongoing restructuring process.
There are many details to be worked out in the coming months and UW-Madison is working with the leadership and staff of UW Cooperative Extension, Wisconsin Public Radio, and Wisconsin Public Television to make the transition as smooth as possible.
