Banners and signage
Units must seek specific approval before posting banners on campus. Typically, banners are approved for a two-week period to promote special one-time events. Visit University Facility Use Policies and Guidelines for more information.
The banners displayed on Bascom Hill and Bascom Hall are produced and scheduled by University Communications.
Banners are not permitted on the pedestrian bridges over University Avenue and Park Street.
Banners displayed on the Alicia Ashman Pedestrian Bridge over Campus Drive require approval from the City Clerk’s Office, City of Madison.
Facilities Planning and Management oversees the design and installation of signage on campus.
